Walk a Block |

This annual event, held during lupus awareness month is an opportunity for lupus patients, friends and families to come together and walk while raising awareness and money in support of people in Canada living with lupus. Walk a Block 2009 will take place on one day this year across Canada. This will help us make a stronger impact on public awareness and will help gain media support for the event. Last year Manitoba raised an estimated $6,000. The day was enjoyed by all who attended including Ronald McDonald. Refreshments and snacks were graciously donated by McDonald¡¯s Restaurants. We expect this years walk to be better than ever. Be sure to mark the date on your calendar!
