Lupus Day Hospital Program

Next 3 day session is upcoming in April 2012

Located at the Rehab Hospital, Health Sciences Centre.


The program consists of:

• an assessment by team  members
• relaxation
• overview of lupus; & strategies for flare-up management
• medications / alternative therapy stress management
• role of exercise
• posture and pain management
• coping strategies
• energy effectiveness  and joint protection
• lifestyle changes
• healthy eating

Team members:

PT = physiotherapist
OT = occupational therapist
RN = registered nurse
RD = registered dietician
SW = social worker 

All lupus patients are welcome, you will need to get a referral from your doctor to attend.
